Evaluate Your Lung Function for Better Treatment

A pulmonary function test is designed to gauge how well your lungs are working. Known more commonly as PFT, this test will determine how much air your lungs can hold, how quickly you can move air in and out of your lungs, and how well your lungs add oxygen and remove carbon dioxide from your blood. The test is used by pulmonologists to diagnose lung diseases and measure the severity of lung problems.

The test is performed to diagnose many different types of lung disorders such as COPD, asthma, cough, and emphysema. During the test, your provider can determine the cause of your shortness of breath or measure occupational exposure to contaminants that affect lung function. The test may be used multiple times throughout your care. PFT can be used after the administration of medications to assess their effectiveness and to measure progress in disease treatment.

Easier Testing Options With Plethysmography Body Box

No one likes medical tests, which is why we've made your PFT experience better with a state-of-the-art plethysmography body box. The body box makes testing easier for patients, and it provides results faster and with more accuracy.
